Oxypod™ presented to royalty

The developers of Oxypod™, Stan Whetstone and Robert Harris, had a wonderful opportunity to present their patented de-aeration device to Prince Charles when he visited Hull on 8th February 2017.

The Prince received an 8-minute presentation explaining the excellent improvements the compact egg-shaped device can provide to a water heating and cooling system, both in energy savings and maintenance costs. Following some very interesting questions posed by Prince Charles he accepted the Oxypod™ with the intention of installing it at one of the properties in Poundbury.

Poundbury is an experimental new town or urban extension on the outskirts of Dorchester in the county of Dorset, England. The development is built on land owned by the Duchy of Cornwall. It is built according to the principles of Prince Charles, who is known for holding strong views challenging the post-war trends in town planning that were suburban in character.

Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, were visiting Hull as the city continues to celebrate its tenure as the UK City of Culture 2017.
